Winning in Challenging Economic Times
Are we having challenging economic times because the world is headed to destruction or because we are experiencing a
change in the larger scope of human history?
At various times in history we have seen significant changes happen. For example, the invention of the steam engine moved
people in mass off the farms and into factories. When the automobile was invented it affected the horse transportation
industry and eventually the railroad.
What we are expriencing now is a shift from the Industrial Age to the Information Age. Inside of this change, old models of
doing business are fading out while new ones are making their entrance.
Advertsing and Marketing methods designed for the Industrial age are increasingly expense with poor results. Internet
marketing, on the other hand, is more powerful, levels the playing field between large and small companies and gives anyone
the opportunity to communicate in a multi-media format.
To win during these economic times it is wise to pay attention to and embrace this new communication system.
